The Holy Quran : Chapter 89: Al-Fajr
الفَجر
Quranic Script Style:
[89:1]
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
[89:1]
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
[89:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
[89:1] اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ جو بے انتہا رحم کرنے والا، بِن مانگے دینے والا (اور) بار بار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
[89:2]
وَالْفَجْرِۙ
[89:2]
وَٱلۡفَجۡرِ
[89:2] By the Dawn,
[89:2] قَسم ہے فجر کی۔
[89:3]
وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍۙ
[89:3]
وَلَيَالٍ عَشۡرٍ۬
[89:3] And the Ten Nights,
[89:3] اور دس راتوں کی۔
[89:4]
وَّالشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِۙ
[89:4]
وَٱلشَّفۡعِ وَٱلۡوَتۡرِ
[89:4] And the Even and the Odd,
[89:4] اور جُفت کی اور طاق کی۔
[89:5]
وَالَّيْلِ اِذَا يَسْرِۚ
[89:5]
وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَسۡرِ
[89:5] And the Night when it moves on to its end ,
[89:5] اور رات کی جب وہ چل پڑے۔
[89:6]
هَلْ فِىْ ذٰلِكَ قَسَمٌ لِّذِىْ حِجْرٍؕ
[89:6]
هَلۡ فِى ذَٲلِكَ قَسَمٌ۬ لِّذِى حِجۡرٍ
[89:6] Is there not in it a strong evidence for a man of understanding?
[89:6] کیا اس میں کسی صاحبِ عقل کےلئے کوئی قَسم ہے؟
[89:7]
اَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍۙ
[89:7]
أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
[89:7] Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with ‘Ad —
[89:7] کیا تُو نے دیکھا نہیں کہ تیرے ربّ نے عاد سے کیا کیا؟
[89:8]
اِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِۙ
[89:8]
إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلۡعِمَادِ
[89:8] The tribe of Iram, possessors of lofty buildings,
[89:8] (یعنی عاد کی شاخ) اِرم کے ساتھ، جو بڑے ستونوں والے تھے۔
[89:9]
الَّتِىْ لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِىْ الْبِلَادِۙ
[89:9]
ٱلَّتِى لَمۡ يُخۡلَقۡ مِثۡلُهَا فِى ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ
[89:9] The like of whom have not been created in these parts —
[89:9] جن جیسی تعمیر ملکوں میں کبھی نہیں کی گئی۔
[89:10]
وَثَمُوْدَ الَّذِيْنَ جَابُوْا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِۙ
[89:10]
وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُواْ ٱلصَّخۡرَ بِٱلۡوَادِ
[89:10] And with Thamud who hewed out rocks in the valley,
[89:10] اور ثمود کے ساتھ، جنہوں نے وادی میں چٹانیں تراشی تھیں۔
