Background and Participation in Battles

Hazrat Abu Mulail^(ra) bin al-Az‘ar’s mother’s name was Umme Amr Bint Ashraf. He belonged to the Aus tribe of the Ansar. He had the honour of participating in the Battles of Badr and Uhud.
