Background and Participation in Battles

Hazrat Sulaim^(ra) bin Harith Ansari belonged to the Banu Dinaar clan of the Khazraj tribe. It is also said about him that he was a slave of the Banu Dinaar clan. It is reported that he was the brother of Hazrat Zahhak bin Harith. In any case, these two accounts are stated according to the available information.
