Background and Participation in Battles

Hazrat Abdullah bin Abs Ansari^(ra) belonged to the branch of Banu Adiyy of the Ansar tribe of Khazraj. Some have mentioned his name as Abdullah bin Ubais. He participated alongside the Holy Prophet^(sa) in all the battles, including the Battle of Badr.
