Background and Participation in Battles

Hazrat Habeeb(ra) bin Aswad bin Sa‘d was a freed slave from the Ansar tribe Banu Haram. He took part in the battles of Badr and Uhud. He left behind no children. We also find mention of him by the name of Khubaib.
