Background and Participation in Battles

Hazrat Sahl^(ra) bin Ateek’s name is also mentioned as Suhail. The name of his mother was Jamila bint Alqama. Hazrat Sahl^(ra) bin Ateek participated in the second pledge at Aqabah along with seventy Ansar.
