Background, Participation in Battles and Demise

Hazrat Usaima Ansari^(ra) belonged to the Banu Ashja tribe. He was a confederate of Banu Ghanam bin Malik bin Najjar. He participated in the Battles of Badr, Uhud, Khandaq [trench] and all other battles with the Holy Prophet^(sa). He passed away in the era of Hazrat Muawiyyah bin Abi Sufiyan^(ra).
