Hazoor delivered his Friday Sermon on the Divine attribute of Al Mu'min (The Bestower of Peace). Expounding the subject with reference to the Holy Quran and ahadith Hazoor said that Allah protects His servants from the greed and desire of this world in the manner that one protects an ailing person from whatever is detrimental to their health and that one is not a true mu'min unless one likes for one's brother whatever one likes for oneself. Hazoor said another meaning of mu'min is one who gives peace/security and receives peace/security. Hazoor related that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) said that the stars were a source of peace for the sky and that he was a source of peace for his Companions, and that his Companions were a source of peace for his ummah (his people) and that when these sources of peace will be taken away, a calamity will befall on each recipient of peace - a calamity that they are warned about. Hazoor added that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) exhorted that one who eats what is pure and wholesome and acts within the limits of the Sunnah and from whose wickedness people are secure, will be granted Paradise. Hazoor related the prominent saying of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) that he made during his migration from Mecca to Medina in the cave in reply to Hadhrat Abu Bakr's (may Allah be pleased him) sense of trepidation at the possibility of being found by the Meccans: 'O Abu Bakr what do you make of these two, with whom the third is God'. At the battle of Badr, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) stood by a pit that had bodies of the non-believers and remarked that now these dead bodies knew that whatever he had told them was the truth.
Citing from the writings of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) Hazoor said that when the love of God enters one's psyche, it is as if God becomes that persons ears to listen from, eyes to see with, hand to hold things with and feet to walk with, it is then that no remnant of wickedness is left in that person. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) enjoined believers never to take sense of security for granted and always engage in Istaghfar (seeking forgiveness from Allah).
Next Hazoor related a few revelations of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace). One of them is "There is salvation in belief"
