In continuation of the subject of the Divine attribute of Al-Aziz, (The Mighty) Hazoor presented his Friday Sermon with reference to the Quranic verses of the said attribute. Expounding the matter, as ever, in light of ahadith, Hazoor explained that the excellence of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) was over and above all prophets and all inhabitants of the heavens and that he was indeed sent down for all people. Hazoor said the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) explained that a refugee is one who abandons whatever Allah has forbidden and the gravest sins were to associate partners with God, to kill an innocent person, not to fulfil one's obligations towards one's parents and to speak falsehood. Hazoor said that so boundless is the mercy and grace of Allah the Exalted that He only employs one hundredth of it for all creation. Hazoor said the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) enjoined that no one's deeds ensured their admittance to Paradise, including himself in this equation, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) added, unless Allah's mercy and grace enveloped him.
Speaking on the magnificence of the Holy Quran Hazoor said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) explained that those who loved and honoured the Holy Quran were Allah's chosen people and were indeed dear to Him, Hazoor also spoke with reference to the writings of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) and said that the previous scriptures pale in insignificance in comparison to the splendour that the Holy Quran exudes and that it is that tremendous source which contains simply all that is needed to achieve spiritual excellence. One who follows the Holy Quran, in effect takes the truth to its ultimate.
Hazoor concluded on a few revelations of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) with reference to the attribute of Al-Aziz. Of them, one is:
"I shall grant your honour and might. Whatever I grant you, none can stop it."
