Hazoor continued with the series of Friday Sermons on the Divine attribute of Al-Aziz today, presenting it with reference to Quranic verses, and elucidating the verses with ahadith and various commentaries of holy and venerable persons. Referring to the incidence of Hudaibiyya Hazoor said that at the time when the Companions of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) were grief-stricken Allah the Exalted revealed verses promising of triumph and tranquillity and later indeed fulfilled His promises. Primarily the dominance of the prophets of God is based on the reasoning that they present to people - some use force to be dominant, however, prophets of God have Allah's help who is Dominant over all else that exists, He is Independent and all else is dependent on Him. Hazoor explained that the dominance of the prophets of God materializes in their aims and objectives being fulfilled. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said that Allah the Exalted has made it His tradition that His messengers prevail over others and that the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) was sent as a prophet in subordination of and completely absorbed in the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him). Hazoor said that Imam Razi (may Allah have mercy on him) explained that the word Aziz connotes a Being that is Matchless and Mighty.
Next Hazoor spoke briefly regarding the institution of 'Shura' or the consultative bodies within the Ahmadiyya Community that are due to meet worldwide. Hazoor said no one consulted their companion more than the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) did, who laid great stress on the significance and magnitude of collective counsel. Hazoor explained that the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) also always convened his companions for consultation and enjoined on the absoluteness of abiding by the counsel of the Shura.
