The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said that man should seek prayers all the time and in every situation and should adhere to: 'And as for the bounty of your Lord do relate it to others.' (93:12) This increases love of God and enhances passion to be obedient and loyal to God.
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih said that during his trips abroad God's bounties increase manifold. With His grace God blesses the programmes and the true message of Islam reaches a large number of people impressing them along the way. The main purpose of Huzoor's recent German tour was to grace the German Jalsa Salana, however many programmes took place through which true Islam was introduced to others. When God's bounties are granted beyond one's efforts and prayers it becomes that much more essential to relate them. The way Jalsa Salana Germany and other programmes were blessed by God taking the message of Islam Ahmadiyyat to a vast number of people draws attention to relate those blessings. German Jama'at should in particular be most grateful to God in this regard and turn to Him more than ever. It is not possible to reach hearts and minds without God's grace. At times even dynamic speeches cannot have the needed affect while things said in simple words make a mark.
Guests at Jalsa and other programmes were most impressed by the proceedings and general atmosphere. Many guests attended Jalsa from eastern and western European countries as did many non-Ahmadi Muslims. Guests came from many countries including Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Latvia, Belgium, Italy, Spain etc. Ahmadis of various ethnicities residing in Germany also came and met Huzoor.
Sixteen guests came from Albania and two of them took Bai'at. One Ahmadi came with his wife, both are legal professionals. The wife had not taken Bai'at although her husband had done Tabligh to her. She took Bai'at at Jalsa and said that she found the experience of attending Jalsa most extraordinary. She said she knew of the beauties of Islam through her husband's Tabligh but accepted it with absolute conviction at Jalsa during meeting with Huzoor. She wept with emotion throughout in spite of her relative youth. Another guest from Albania also announced during meeting that he accepted Ahmadiyyat with full conviction.
A guest from Kosovo said he had attended last year's Jalsa as well but found this year the organisation and arrangements to be distinctively better.
Sixty two guests came from Macedonia; fourteen were Christian and thirty seven non Ahmadi Muslims. They travelled thirty six hours to get to Jalsa. The group included two journalists who recorded Jalsa on camera and said they would broadcast it on TV on their return home. One guest said he was taking great memories of Jalsa with him adding that even developed countries could not organise an event like Jalsa. Another guest said it was the first time in his life that he had met so many good people. He was most impressed by the message of Islam and said that Ahmadis put in practice all that the banners at Jalsa proclaimed. A journalist guest from Macedonia said that he had been around the world as a journalist but had found Jalsa programme to be excellent. He was impressed by the general air of tolerance and brotherhood of man he experienced at Jalsa. Another guest said it was his first time at Jalsa and he heard all the addresses. He had no idea there was such a community in Islam. He now had knowledge as well as experience of Ahmadiyyat and felt as he was part of the Jama'at. Another guest said he would reflect on whatever he had listened to during Jalsa as regards the difference between Ahmadis and other Muslims. He suggested that Jama'at should send missionaries wherever it did not have any. Another guest said he was intimately introduced to Muslims for the first time at Jalsa and he listened to the addresses informing him about Islam.
A guest from Bosnia said he did not have a very strong connection with the Jama'at but after meeting Hazrat Khalifatul Masih he had feelings of closeness and had great respect for Huzoor.
A Russian family came from Sweden with a new Ahmadi. He accepted Ahmadiyyat in 2013 but had not met Hazrat Khalifatul Masih. He was very emotional after meeting Huzoor. He had a bad leg and during his travel to Jalsa needed to stop every two hours to stretch his leg. However, he did not feel the need to stop during the return journey which was seventeen hours long and put it down to the blessings of Jalsa.
A lady guest from Croatia said she had read a book of the head of the Ahmadiyya Jama'at and had also read his addresses to Peace Symposiums 2014/2015. She had assumed he would have a severe personality but meeting him allayed this impression.
A guest from Hungary said he was very impressed how everyone, young and old greeted each other warmly at Jalsa. Although he did not understand the language people spoke their faces showed him that they were all dispensing feelings of love. He said he had seen the east and the west but had never seen what he saw at Jalsa ever before. Another guest from Hungary who is a Jew had reservations when talking to our missionary before coming to Jalsa. However, after meeting Huzoor he said that not only Ahmadis believed in Love for all hatred for none, but also practiced it. He has also offered his help and support to the Jama'at in Hungary. Another guest from Hungary who is originally from Burkina Faso came with his daughters. His wife is Hungarian and did not want the daughters to accompany the father on their own, so she sent her mother along. The maternal grandmother was very impressed by the Jalsa and borrowed a scarf to cover her head. She was very emotional during meeting with Hazrat Khalifatul Masih and said the world of Jalsa/Ahmadiyyat was a different world in a very positive sense.
A guest from Germany, originally from Central African Republic, said when he was invited to Jalsa he assumed at the most there would be hundred guests. Attending Jalsa transformed his view and he felt he was in a trance-like state all the time.
A guest from Montego said he listened to the speeches and observed the general arrangements and found them all extraordinary. Another guest from Montego said Muslims say that, God forbid, Ahmadis do not accept the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). However, what he closely observed with his own eyes at Jalsa made him realise the allegations were entirely false.
A guest from Belgium who is originally from Morocco said the spiritual ambience of Jalsa had moved his very soul. He said seeing Hazrat Khalifatul Masih his viewpoint had changed and he said may God enable him to take Bai'at.
A German guest said attending Jalsa was a first time opportunity for him to understand Ahmadiyyat. Whatever Hazrat Khalifatul Masih had said was the truth and if the people put it in practice the world would be a peaceful place.
A new Ahmadi from France who took Bai'at three weeks ago said he has always been a Muslim but had no steadfastness of faith. When he offered Salat behind Hazrat Khalifatul Masih for the first time ever he experienced tearful emotions. He said he experienced Divine signs every day since accepting Ahmadiyyat.
A student guest said prior to coming to Jalsa he had very negative impression of Islam garnered through the electronic media. But coming to Jalsa he found everything to be so different and positive. He said he observed true Islam among the Ahmadis.
A guest from Lithuania who is a lawyer said he was most impressed by the Jalsa. He had listened to the addresses of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih and felt he came to know about true Islam by coming to Jalsa. He said he would offer legal help and support to Jama'at back in Lithuania.
A guest from Bosnia said Hazrat Khalifatul Masih had presented a concept of a Living God. He said only Jama'at Ahmadiyya says that God is alive today as He always was.
A guest from German Belgian border said he did not take religion seriously prior coming to Jalsa. But attending Jalsa transformed him.
Another guest said he was enabled to take Bai'at owing to the English language address of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih. He said his heart was now replete with love and light.
A guest from Syria whose father is an Ahmadi and had done Tabligh to him but the son had not taken Bai'at. He had a question and answer session with our missionary but was still not convinced. He was asked to pray, he said he prayed anyhow, he was told to pray fervently. On the second day of Jalsa a meeting was held with Hazrat Khalifatul Masih after his address. The guest said to our missionary on the day to give him one proof of the truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) from the Holy Qur'an which he did and also told him about prophecies of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) and their fulfilment. The guest was ready to take Bai'at because he had found the sign he was looking for. He prayed most fervently that night and had a dream. In the dream he sees the words Al Ahmadiyya written in large letters on a wall. During the address of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih he felt he wanted to be close to Huzoor. Momentarily he felt as if he dozed off and found himself next to Huzoor. He felt greatly satisfied and as a result took Bai'at.
A Christian guest from Italy came to Jalsa who is the general secretary of an organisation called 'Religions for Peace'. He also has influence in the Vatican. He took a very positive impression of Jalsa and wrote an article in which said he had to acknowledge that he was impressed by what he saw. He said Ahmadis are truly Muslims. He said it was his personal observation that thousands belonging to different ethnicities came together at Jalsa which was managed by hundreds of volunteers. He said the person who drove him around told him that he had taken two weeks unpaid leave from work to volunteer his services for Jalsa. Regarding the address of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih he said it lead to the right path.
A Syrian guest said that he had never before seen such a well organised event. He said he had read Baraheen e Ahmadiyya and felt that no one wrote such a book in the nineteenth century in defence of Islam.
Usually guests do not draw attention to any deficiencies during Jalsa but two lady guests from Albania said that a lot of food was being wasted in the ladies section. Jalsa management, especially Lajna should focus on this. A lady guest from Macedonia said their accommodation was far off from Jalsa site and it was tiring to travel there and back. Management should facilitate close-by accommodation for such guests. Officer Jalsa Salana also noted down some deficiencies. Noting one's own shortcoming leads to betterment. Attention needs to be given to cleanliness. Some people appeared to have mentioned that pasta dish was not available at Langar. The real purpose of Jalsa is partaking of spiritual food and we should eat whatever food is served at Jalsa. Sometimes some workers also adopt a harsh stance which is hurtful for people. Workers should gauge the situation and if the need of a guest is genuine then even if they have to by-pass rules to serve the guest, they should.
Jalsa was organised very well this year and Officer Jalsa Salana's work was very good. An eye should be kept on whatever deficiencies there were this year and things will be better next year. Last year's inadequacies like the sound system were removed this year. Hazrat Khalifatul Masih thanked all Jalsa workers.
Some mosques were also inaugurated during the German tour of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih. At one inauguration a local resident said that he had heard Hazrat Khalifatul Masih's address to the European Parliament and was eager to listen to his address at the local level of mosque inauguration to see if he only spoke about peace when addressing prominent and influential people. He observed that Huzoor spoke of the exact same teaching in the local address as he had at the European Parliament and this impressed the guest a lot. The local mayor and other guest also gave their views.
At another mosque inauguration the regional commissioner said he was most impressed by the address of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih. He suggested that the address should be made available online. A lady member of parliament said she was happy to attend the mosque inauguration. She said due to the current misgivings about Islam it was important for everyone to come together to give a message of peace. Another guest said that it was difficult for him to come up with a positive view of Islam previously but after listening to Hazrat Khalifatul Masih he felt Islam was a religion of peace. An engineer who had participated in the construction of mosque said he agreed with everything Hazrat Khalifatul Masih said in his address. He said the entire event did not have the pretence he finds at church events.
All these events were widely covered by online media and the message reached 106 to 107 million people through other media. Newspapers which covered the events have readership of 32 million. Three radio stations also ran the news while four television channels broadcast it. On the last day of Jalsa a lady journalist interviewed Hazrat Khalifatul Masih which will be published in two parts on an online newspaper which gets 17.5 hits.
News of the inauguration of the last mosque was covered by three newspapers with a readership of 116,000.
Foundation stone of a mosque was also laid and this was covered by newspaper with a readership of 6 million.
An interview of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih has been posted in a weekly paper with a readership of 1.5 million which gets 5 million hits online. This interview was taken by an Ahmadi journalist.
While Jalsa Salana facilitates spiritual development for our own it also provides a true illustration of Islam to others. Many people who were not ready to take Bai'at previously felt ready after meeting Hazrat Khalifatul Masih and after asking some questions. We have so much to be grateful for! May God enable the Jama'at to look after these new comers and may the blessings of Jalsa spread far and wide. May God enable every attendee of Jalsa to enjoy its lasting benefits!
Funeral Prayer in absentia was announced for Rasheeda Begum Sahiba, wife of a dervish of Qadian who passed away on 1 June at the age of 77. She was a moosia.

The Promised Messiah (Peace be upon him) states:
"Remember that a person should always and in every condition remain a seeker of prayer, and secondly, should act upon اَمَّا بِنِعْمَۃِ رَبِّکَ فَحَدِّثْ (Al-Duha: 11)." He (Promised Messiah (Peace be upon him) said: "One should proclaim the blessings bestowed by God Almighty. This increases love for God Almighty and creates a fervor for His obedience and submission." (Tafsir Hazrat Masih Mau'ud, Volume 4, Page 649, with reference to Al-Hakam, April 10, 1903, Pages 1-2, Volume 7, No. 13)
We witness the spectacles of Allah the Almighty's blessings daily, which should draw attention toward Allah the Almighty's grace and blessings and should also increase love for Allah the Almighty. But when I go on tours, Allah the Almighty's blessings increase manifold. By His grace, Allah the Almighty places blessings in the programs, and the message of Tabligh and the true message of Islam reaches a large number of people, and then it has an impact on them.
When I recently went on a tour of Germany, the main purpose was participation in the Annual Convention (Jalsa Salana) of Germany, but along with it, God Almighty Himself arranges such programs that become a means of conveying the true introduction and teaching of Islam to the people. As the Promised Messiah (Peace be upon him) said, a person should remain a seeker of prayer in every condition. Certainly, without it, it is impossible for us to take even a single step. One should pray to Allah the Almighty with sincerity; may Allah the Almighty continue to grant the ability for this as well. And then he said that along with prayer, when Allah the Almighty's blessings occur, or Allah the Almighty Himself, while showing the manifestations of His attributes, is granting His blessings many times greater than our prayer and effort, then it becomes necessary to remember and mention Allah the Almighty's blessings more than before. And this is the very thing that then creates love for Allah the Almighty in the hearts of believers. A fervor for His obedience and submission is created so that in this way Allah the Almighty's blessings and favors may increase further. So the manner in which Allah the Almighty's blessings occurred at the Jalsa of Germany and other programs, and the way the message of Islam Ahmadiyyat has spread on a large scale to a vast part of the country in these days or has reached it — this draws our attention to the fact that these blessings of Allah the Almighty should be mentioned, and especially the Germany Jama'at should be very grateful and, while being grateful for these blessings, should bow further before Allah the Almighty so that Allah the Almighty's blessings may continue to increase. Reaching hearts is not possible without Allah the Almighty's blessings. No human being can reach anyone's heart if it is not the will of Allah the Almighty. No matter how much effort a person makes, if it is not the will of Allah the Almighty, no message has an effect. Sometimes even the speeches of passionate speakers do not have an effect, but a simple and plain manner of speaking has an effect. So we witnessed these spectacles at the Jalsa. This was expressed in the impressions of the non-member guests who had come. I will now briefly mention them. By the grace of Allah the Almighty, many people from Eastern Europe and neighboring countries came to Germany to participate in the Jalsa. Many non-Ahmadis and non-Muslims come to learn the truth because of their relationships with Ahmadis, and then such an impact is made on them that they become included among the servants of the Imam of the age and take the pledge of allegiance (Bai'at). This year too, delegations came from the countries of Macedonia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Albania, Latvia, Russia, Hungary, Lithuania, Croatia, and Slovenia to participate in the Jalsa Salana Germany. Similarly, new converts and non-Ahmadi guests came from neighboring European countries including Belgium, Holland, France, Sweden, Spain, and Italy. Likewise, Ahmadis and non-Ahmadi friends from Russian countries settled in Germany, as well as Ahmadis and non-Ahmadi friends from Turkey, also participated in large numbers. Meetings were held with all of them; questions and answers also took place. I present the impressions of a few. Sixteen people came from Albania. Two took the pledge of allegiance after seeing the proceedings of the Jalsa. A friend, Ervin Xhepa, attended the Jalsa with his wife. Both are associated with the legal field. He himself is an Ahmadi, but his wife had not taken the pledge before attending the Jalsa. But Alhamdulillah, after attending the Jalsa and later having a meeting, she also took the pledge and began saying that the experiences of the Jalsa were extraordinary, through which she witnessed a display of love, sincerity, and selfless service. She says this had an extraordinary impact on my heart. She is also a lawyer. She says my husband had done a lot of Tabligh to me, and for quite some time the beauty of Ahmadiyyat had settled in my heart, but today I accept Jama'at Ahmadiyya with complete certainty. And during the meeting, she continued to cry constantly. It's not that she is old in age, she is young and among the young as well, much attention is being drawn toward recognizing true Islam.
Similarly, there is a friend, Ibrahim Turshilla. During the meeting, he announced that I too am becoming an Ahmadi, and he joined by taking the pledge. He says I have taken a long time to make this decision, but still today I join with full certainty, and this decision of mine is very correct.
A friend from Kosovo, Agron, says he had also come last year, but compared to last year, he felt an extraordinary expansion and a marked change in the arrangements of the Jalsa. So this expansion and change and improvement is only by the grace of Allah the Almighty. And this matter should play a further role in making the administration grateful to Allah the Almighty, and their gratitude should increase.
A delegation of 62 people also came from Macedonia, of whom fourteen were Christians. Twenty-seven were non-Ahmadi Muslims, and they had arrived after a long journey of approximately two thousand kilometers and thirty-six hours of travel. Among them were also two journalists from two TV channels who kept filming various scenes. They also conducted interviews of various people and say that they will make a TV program there and show this in it.
A guest from Macedonia said that I am going back with the memories of having participated in the Jalsa. The work of the Jalsa arrangements is such that any institution can hardly accomplish, rather I would say that even a large country cannot hold a program of this standard.
Then there is a gentleman from Macedonia who says this is the first time in my life that I have met such good people. What impressed me the most is the message of Islam that I have received here now. The message written on your walls is not just words; rather, in reality, you people act upon it. These things have had a very deep impact on my heart.
Then there is a guest, Toni, from Macedonia. He says, as a journalist, I have participated in various programs around the world, but this was the best program. Everything was organized in a good manner. There was discipline here. What impressed me the most is that all people are equal before God. There is tolerance among all individuals. There are no differences among one another because of religion, nation, or language. As a non-Muslim, this is very important for me.
Then a guest from Macedonia said that he participated in the Jalsa for the first time, and everything was new for him. “I did not know that such a community also exists in Islam. After participating in this Jalsa, I now feel academically better. I have gained more knowledge and experience about Ahmadiyyat. I feel as if I am already part of this community. For such a large number of people to gather and for all their needs to be taken care of is a very great task.”
Then he also had a meeting with me. After that, he began to say that I will ponder over what I have heard from you about what the difference is between us and Ahmadis. His question was what is the difference between an Ahmadi and a non-Ahmadi? He says what I have heard from you I liked very much. My message to the Jama'at is that missionaries of Ahmadiyyat should be sent to my country and other countries wherever the Jama'at is not established, who should tell the people there what Ahmadiyyat is. And these demands are not isolated; they come from many places. One guest in the delegation from Macedonia was Dragan. He says this is my first time having such a close acquaintance with Muslims, and I have heard such speeches that were about Islamic teachings. Here the Muslims welcomed us as if they had always known us. A gentleman from Bosnia says that previously his connection with the Jama'at was not that strong, but after meeting with the Imam of the Jama'at Ahmadiyya, an extraordinary change has occurred in him, and respect for the Jama'at and especially for the Khalifatul Masih has greatly increased in his heart.
A Russian family came from Sweden. Their other friend was Ai Toure. He participated in the Jalsa with his family. He had accepted Ahmadiyyat in 2013, but had not met me. After meeting me, he was very emotional and very enthusiastic and repeatedly expressed that I did not think that a meeting would take place due to the busy schedule, but an opportunity arose. The missionary wrote that while coming, he would say to stop every two hours so that he could stretch his leg a bit and adjust it, but on the return, he made the seventeen-hour journey without stopping. And when asked upon reaching home why he did not stop on the way this time, he said, "It is the blessings of the Jalsa. I did not even feel that there was any problem in my leg."
Then there was the Croatian delegation. One of its members, Josipa, said that before coming to the Jalsa Salana, I studied the book World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace by the current head of the Jama'at. Similarly, I also studied both addresses of the Khalifatul Masih at the peace symposiums in 2014 and 2015. I had this impression in my mind that the head of the Jama'at must have a strict stance in some matters and must be stern in temperament. However, this impression was removed after the meeting, and after that, she started doing further research about the Jama'at.
A friend from Hungary, Mezei, participated in the Jalsa. He has worked in various positions in the police department. Now a fund has been established in the name of a revolutionary Prime Minister of Hungary through which he does humanitarian work. He is Christian by religion. He expresses his feelings in this way: “young and old, everyone was greeting each other with Salam. They were meeting with love. I did not understand the language of these people, but from their facial expressions, it seemed that these people are spreading love. I have seen the world, and from East to West, I have not seen such a spectacle of this kind. This Jalsa has had a strange effect on me. Certainly, I will also tell my friends and acquaintances about the Jalsa of Jama'at Ahmadiyya.”
Then there is Gabor Peter from Hungary. He is Jewish by religion. Our missionary said that before participating in the Jalsa, when there were discussions with him about Islam and Judaism, sometimes he would argue contentiously. But when he met me, he said that you people do not just believe in "Love for all, hatred for none," but I have seen for myself that you people act upon this motto. And now he has said that if the Jama'at needs any kind of assistance in Hungary in any matter, he will cooperate. So these are the changes that Allah the Almighty creates.
In the delegation from Hungary, there was a friend named Ismail. His origin is from Burkina Faso, but he is settled in Hungary. His wife is Hungarian. Some time ago, he joined the Jama'at by taking the pledge. He has two daughters whom he wanted to bring with him. But his wife said she would not let the daughters go separately. Who knows what kind of Muslims you are going to. So the grandmother of the girls came along, and when she arrived here, the impact that was to happen occurred. First, she watched the various proceedings of the Jalsa. The video "One Community, One Leader" was also shown. This too had a special impact on her. And before reaching the Jalsa Gah, she began saying that I have not brought anything to cover my head. Anyway, then she asked for a dupatta, a scarf from the women nearby, covered her head, and during the meeting, she was very emotional, saying this is a completely different world that I am seeing. The concerns we had have completely gone away. Then there is a friend Sulaiman in Germany. He is from the Central Republic of Africa. He says when I received the invitation to the Jalsa, I thought it would be a preaching session of fifty or a hundred people where there would be some discussions and eating and drinking. Then all the people would go to their homes. But after coming here, my perception has completely changed. Thousands of people were gathered. I could not come out of the spell of the spectacle of the Jalsa. Everything here is enchanting, and your style of preaching is unique. If preaching is done in this manner, only an unfortunate one would refuse.
A gentleman from Montenegro, Ragip Shaptafi, says that I listened to the speeches, saw the arrangements — they were extraordinary things. Similarly, Ragip said that in Montenegro, it is generally famous among Muslims that Jama'at Ahmadiyya does not accept the Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) — God forbid. But whoever sees the Jama'at closely, it immediately becomes clear to him that this is merely a lie that the Mullahs have spread.
Then a friend from Morocco who lives in Belgium, says that I cannot express my feelings. It is such a spiritual spectacle that has affected the depth of my soul. I have seen the true picture of Islam here. He says that after seeing the Khalifa of the time and hearing his speeches, my perception about Ahmadiyyat has changed. May Allah the Almighty grant me such a pledge that I become a servant of religion and one who spreads the message of the Promised Messiah (Peace be upon him) in the world. A German friend, Heiko Fahnicke, says this was my first opportunity to learn something about Ahmadiyyat. Then about me, he said that whatever they said, they spoke the truth. If all humans start acting upon it, peace would spread throughout the entire world. I have learned more about Islam here than I expected, and I have enjoyed it very much.
A new convert from France, Anly Anfane, is a resident of the Comoros Islands. He had taken the pledge only three weeks earlier. He says I was a Muslim, but I was not getting steadfastness. Yesterday, when I prayed Friday prayer behind the Khalifatul Masih, I enjoyed it very much, and for the first time in my life, I wept during prayer. Before joining the Jama'at, all my work was stuck, but since I became an Ahmadi, all my work has become easy, and signs of God Almighty are appearing daily. A student, Edgaras, says that before coming here, I had formed a very wrong perception about Islam through electronic media. But after listening to the addresses and seeing the programs of the Jalsa, everything seemed different. The behavior of the people was very positive, and today I am seeing true Islam in the form of you people. Similarly, there are impressions of many people. A lawyer from Lithuania said that I have been very impressed by participating in the Jalsa. I listened to the addresses of your Khalifa. This is a new experience for me regarding Islam. Coming here, I have learned about the true teaching of Islam. I am grateful to you, and as a lawyer, I will now fully help and support the activities of your Jama'at legally in Lithuania and will stand by you.
A gentleman from Bosnia said that the Khalifatul Masih presented a concept of a Living God. At this time, only Jama'at Ahmadiyya is such a community that claims and also shows that God Almighty is still alive today. And you taught us this in easy but excellent words.
Then there is a gentleman who lives on the border of Germany and Belgium. He has been a Muslim before. He says until coming to the Jalsa Germany, I did not take religion and Jama'at seriously. But by participating in the Jalsa, my feelings have been transformed. The same Jama'at that I did not take seriously has shown me the best days of my life in the form of the Jalsa Salana. Then he also mentioned a long dream of his.
Similarly, a German new Ahmadi, Patrick, says that I have had the blessing of taking the pledge today, and the reason for this was the address of the Khalifatul Masih to German guests (which is in English). I have seen true love in the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at through the Khilafat. My heart is filled with love and light.
Abdullah is a Syrian. His father had been an Ahmadi for many years. He used to live with his father in Russia, but now he is settled in Holland for studies. Through his father, he was preached to, but he had not yet taken the pledge. After participating in the Jalsa, despite the fact that before the Jalsa, he had daily questions and answers with the missionary about the truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (Peace be upon him) and was not accepting. Finally, the missionary told him that then this is it — that you should pray. He says I do pray. So he was told to pray with pain and supplication that Allah the Almighty guides you. On the second day of the Jalsa was my address, and after that, there was a meeting with the preaching guests. I don't know if he was included in that or not, but on the day of the address itself, he says he told our missionary: "Give me just one argument from the Holy Quran for the truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (Peace be upon him)." Our missionary gave him the argument and also discussed some prophecies and the progress of the Jama'at. He said, "I want to take the pledge because Allah the Almighty has shown me a sign." He said that at night, I prayed to Allah the Almighty with great supplication and pleading, and when I slept at night, I saw in a dream that on a big wall, in bold letters, "الاحمدیّۃ" (Al-Ahmadiyya) was written, and extraordinary light was emanating from it. And similarly, when I was addressing the Germans, he says that during that time, I had asked for a sign in my heart. He says that during that time, a desire arose in my heart that I wish I had the opportunity to stand with the Khalifatul Masih and in his proximity, or if I could get the opportunity at that time. He says that after a while, it felt as if for a moment a drowsiness came over me, and I saw that I was standing on the stage beside the Khalifatul Masih. And after that, he says, the truth became clear to me. He says I asked for the argument from the Holy Quran merely for satisfaction and assurance; otherwise, the reality is that after the prayer and after this dream, I had been satisfied. So he took the pledge.
Similarly, there is a friend from Algeria. He says that every time participation in the Jalsa becomes the cause of an extraordinary increase in my faith, and every time I witness the spectacles of Allah the Almighty's immense help. At the Jalsa, I felt as if I were in Paradise. Here, despite differences in languages, temperaments, and nations, the sound of "Assalamu Alaikum" from everywhere reminds one of what Allah the Almighty has said about the people of Paradise — that their greeting therein is سَلَام (Peace).
There was a Christian guest from Italy. There is an organization in Italy called Religion for Peace; he is its General Secretary and has considerable influence in Vatican City. In addition, he has also written various books on Catholic theology. He left with a very good impression; rather, after returning to Italy, he wrote an article. He has his own magazine that is read by thousands of people. In the article, he wrote that I must acknowledge that the scene of the Jalsa Salana was extremely astonishing. When one's gaze falls on the message written in large letters, "Love for all, hatred for none," the first question that arises in the mind is: are these people really Muslims? There is no doubt that these people are truly Muslims. The atmosphere there was filled with a strange love and unity. I observed with my own eyes that thousands of young people, old people, children, and families from different nations were representing a very organized community. This also impressed me very much that hundreds of people there were working voluntarily without any compensation; rather, the person who would take me by car from the hotel to the Jalsa Gah told me that he had taken two weeks of unpaid leave from his job for this Jalsa. Then about me, he says he was very impressed by my speeches. They were guiding toward the straight path. In these words, there was love, brotherhood, unity, and harmony. So he published a detailed article there as well.
A Syrian doctor who was participating in the Jalsa says that I have never seen such an organized organization in my life. We cannot manage six people, and here nearly forty thousand people are gathered, and there is no pushing and shoving. I sincerely respect and honor Hazrat Mirza Sahib and your Khalifa. He says I have read Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya completely. By God, in the nineteenth century, neither in Arabia nor in any other country was such a book written in defense of Islam. May Allah the Almighty open his heart as well and grant him the ability for acceptance.
By the grace of Allah the Almighty, the blessings of the Jalsa are extraordinary. The impacts are extraordinary. I have described very few, and those I have described, I have mentioned in summary.
Similarly, some guests also hesitantly mentioned some of their reservations. They do mention the good qualities, but guests usually do not draw attention to the matters that need attention out of shyness. But here there were also two women, one of whom is from Albania, who drew attention to the fact that among women, I saw that there was a lot of wastage of curry and bread. So where there are many good qualities, an effort should be made to remove this weakness. The administration of Germany, especially the Lajna, should keep reminding those eating that they should not waste food and bread. Similarly, a woman from Macedonia said about accommodation that the accommodation was very far, and we had to travel a lot to come. Because of this, there would be fatigue. So for such people also, the administration of Germany should arrange accommodation nearby.
Similarly, the Officer Jalsa Salana has also noted some matters, and noting one's own matters is actually what leads to improvement. Attention should also be paid to this in the future. One is people throwing garbage, not caring about cleanliness — people should take care of this in the future, and everyone should keep reminding each other about cleanliness. Then some also talked about food. Whereas the food that is cooked in the Langar Khanas can only be of one kind. Some had an objection that there is no Pasta, etc.; there should be. Here, the real thing is the spiritual food that Ahmadis come to partake of. Therefore, Ahmadis should not make this kind of remark. Whatever food is available should be eaten. And similarly, only one kind of food will be cooked.
Then sometimes some workers become strict in some matters, which causes trouble to others. So they should see that if someone is in need and their need is legitimate, then even if rules have to be bent, if their need can be fulfilled, it should be done. Workers should always treat others with kindness and facilitation.
However, overall, the arrangements of this Jalsa Salana were very good. The Officer Jalsa Salana and his team have worked much better compared to previous years. Some small shortcomings remain in big arrangements; if they also keep an eye on them, then in the future, God willing, there will be further improvement. May Allah the Almighty reward all the workers who worked very hard. Despite the fact that more guests than expected had come, bedding was also provided for them. The first night there was a problem, but the next day it was corrected and was resolved in a very good manner. The rest of the weaknesses that were there last year in the matter of sound, etc., were also removed by the grace of Allah the Almighty. Anyway, as I thank the workers, I thank them all.
In addition, during the tour, there were also inaugurations of some mosques. I will briefly mention them as well. When a mosque was inaugurated in Aachen, a resident of Aachen city participated in that ceremony. He said that two or three years ago, I had also heard the address of the Khalifatul Masih in the European Parliament. Today, I actually came with the purpose of seeing and comparing whether your Khalifa presents the teaching of peace only in front of big personalities and on important platforms, or whether in other smaller programs where people with less power are participating, he also presents the message of peace. He wanted to see whether there is a double policy. So today I heard the address of the Khalifa. He has presented the same teaching that was given in the European Parliament. He has exhorted everyone to love one another, to adopt tolerance, to show patience and courage, and to treat each other with kindness. All these things have impressed me very much.
Similarly, the Mayor of the city and other people were there; all of them expressed their impressions. There in the province of Hessen, in Hanau, Masjid Bait-ul-Wahid was also inaugurated. The District Commissioner there, who is also a Member of Parliament, also expressed his impressions. He says that the speech of the Khalifa of the time has left a very good impression on us. He directly addressed the non-Muslim citizens and drew the attention of all humans that they are from One God, so they should take care of each other's self-respect and solve problems while walking on the paths of peace. He says that this speech should also be made available on the internet. There, he also immediately requested the script. Then there was a German lady Member of Parliament. She says that today I am very happy to be participating in the inauguration of this mosque. Before this, I was also present at the inauguration of the mosque in the city of Florstadt. These days, when there are apprehensions about the teachings of Islam, it is necessary that we all together give the message of peace. And today, the construction of the mosque of Jama'at Ahmadiyya here shows that we all want to live together with peace, love, and brotherhood, and this mosque is also a clear expression of the fact that this is the homeland of Ahmadis.
Then there are many more impressions as well. One guest said that it was very difficult for me to form any good opinion about Islam. But today, the Islam that the Khalifatul Masih has presented — seeing this Islam, I feel that Islam is a religion that teaches peace and mercy, and this concept of Islam is exactly in accordance with the meaning of the Quran.
An engineer who also worked in the construction of the mosque says about me, that whatever they said, I completely agree with all of it. He also said that I thought this ceremony would be like church ceremonies, which have a lot of shows, but it was a simple and very nice ceremony.
Through electronic media, there was also a lot of coverage of all these programs. In total, approximately eighty-eight news items were published in various newspapers. Similarly, news was broadcast on eight different radio stations and four different TV channels. Through these newspapers, radio stations, and TV channels, the message reached a total of one hundred six or one hundred seven million people. Regarding the Jalsa Salana Germany, a total of thirty-six news items were published in various newspapers, and the readership of these newspapers is said to be about thirty-two million. Three different radio stations also broadcast news about the Jalsa. Their radio stations are quite famous. Similarly, four different TV channels also broadcast news about the Jalsa Salana. In addition, on the last day of the Jalsa, a female journalist took an interview of mine, which is to be published in two parts as a film. This is Germany's largest online newspaper. Their circulation is more than seventeen and a half million. Thus, the total circulation of both news items will be thirty-four million.
Then, regarding the inaugurations of the mosques, about fifty news items appeared in various newspapers. The total readership of these newspapers amounts to about sixty-two million. Two radio stations also broadcast news about the inauguration of Masjid Bait-ul-Wahid Hanau. In addition, Germany's famous TV channel RTL also took an interview at the inaugural ceremony and gave two minutes and twenty-three seconds of news that same evening.
Then regarding the mosque in Aachen, news was published in three newspapers, which are local newspapers there. Approximately one hundred sixteen thousand people read them. Then there was a foundation stone of a mosque; the newspapers there that published news — their readers are said to number six million.
In Vechta, there was a mosque inauguration. Four news items were published in newspapers. The total readership of these newspapers is approximately twenty-six hundred thousand (2.6 million). There is a newspaper there called Die Zeit. An interview of mine was published in it. And this is a weekly newspaper that has been published every Thursday since 1946. On average, it sells in the number of five hundred thousand, and its readers are said to number up to one and a half million. Similarly, the number of people who view the online edition of this newspaper on the internet is about five million. This is an Ahmadi journalist who had taken the interview. By the grace of Allah the Almighty, Ahmadis are now also coming into the media and are now conveying the true message of Islam through this means. May Allah the Almighty grant further blessing in their knowledge and insight.
So the Jalsa Salana, where it becomes a cause of spiritual and moral progress for our own people which friends and women keep expressing to me in their letters it also becomes a cause of presenting the true picture of Islam to outsiders, and in this way, pledges of allegiance also take place. Several people who, according to the administration's knowledge, were not ready for the pledge before, after meeting me and asking a few questions, became ready for the pledge. So for how many blessings and favors can a person express gratitude? For how many blessings can one express gratitude that Allah the Almighty bestows upon us? May Allah grant that now the Jama'ats may also preserve these blessings, and may they also properly absorb these people who are taking new pledges of allegiance, and may these blessings of the Jalsa continue to spread more widely. May Allah the Almighty also grant all the individuals who participated the ability to permanently benefit from these blessings, and may He make us all truly grateful.
After the prayer, I will also lead a funeral prayer in absentia, which is of respected Rashida Begum Sahiba, wife of respected Muhammad Din Sahib Badr, Dervish of Qadian.
