Hazrat Anas (ra) narrates: The Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be on him, said: A person would relish the sweetness and joy of Eiman (Faith) if he possesses three things. First, he loves Allah and His Messenger more than anyone else. Second, he loves others only for the sake of Allah. Third, after relinquishing unbelief with the help of Allah, he hates to return to unbelief as much as he hates to be thrown into fire. (Bukhari Kitab ul Eeman – Baab Hilawa Tul Eeman)
