A Response to Three Questions of a Christian
by Hazrat Hakeem Noor-ud-Deen, Khalifatul Masih I(ra)
In 1891, a Christian by the name of Abdullah James posed three questions about the Holy Prophet Muhammad(sa) and invited the Anjuman Himayat-e-Islam to furnish replies to those questions. The Anjuman Himayat-e-Islam submitted these questions to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah(as), and two other accomplished scholars, Hazrat Maulana Hakeem Noor-ud-Deen(ra) and Maulawi Ghulam Nabi of Amritsar. The Anjuman published all three replies to these questions in 1892 under the title Eik ‘Isa’i kei Tin Sawal aur unkei Jawabat.
Mr. James had argued in his questions that the Holy Prophet(sa) had been in doubt about his own prophethood, did not possess any knowledge of the unseen, and failed to show any miracles. Hazrat Maulana Hakeem Noor-ud-Deen(ra) rebuts these points with profound wisdom and comprehensive arguments. The reader will quickly appreciate his ability to disarm unfounded criticism, and his proficiency in linguistics.
