Minanur-Rahman or Favours of the Gracious God was written by the Promised Messiah^(as) and posthumously published in 1922 in Urdu and Arabic. This is the first complete English translation that is being published.

The Promised Messiah^(as) was drawn towards writing this book owing to some verses of the Holy Qur’an. It is a great favour of the Holy Qur’an upon the world that it explains the true philosophy of the variation of language and teaches the subtle wisdom behind the origin and fountain-head of human speech. The origin of human language is God Almighty who taught man Arabic through revelation and all languages have branched off Arabic over the course of human evolution. The perfect language is Arabic—the plain and clear tongue and it is the mother-tongue of mankind.

Since a perfect teaching required that it be explained in a perfect language, we find that the Holy Qur’an has been revealed in Arabic—bringing the perfect teaching and perfect language together.

In Favours of the Gracious God, the Promised Messiah^(as) comprehensively analyses the system of root words and how Arabic contains various miracles that cannot be matched by other languages. Minanur-Rahman is one of the masterpieces of the Promised Messiah^(as) and is sure to leave the reader with a deep impression of the God-given ability of the Promised Messiah^(as) to prove the superiority of Islam over all other religions.
