All the Muslims have this unanimous belief that the holy Quran is a perfect code of life and from it we can find solutions of all the problems. Unfortunately, the practical life of Muslim Ummah shows a quite opposite picture. In order to solve their economical, political, educational, social and even cultural problems, they follow either the Western theories and values or the local traditional customs. Nobody even thinks about scrolling the pages of the holy Quran to seek guidance from it.

The holy Quran has mentioned this condition in these words,

"And the messenger will say, O my Lord, my people indeed treated this Quran as thing to be discarded." (25:31)

The holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) has also prophesied this scenario in these words,

"Nothing shall be left from Quran except its words"

A quick look at present situation of the Muslims can show us how perfectly these prophecies have been fulfilled. No Muslim ever bothers to study the holy Quran with the view to find solution of the present day miseries and problems being faced by the Muslim Ummah and to see how much this Book cope with the ever-changing modern world. The religious scholars are ignorant of the Quranic knowledge and its spirit. They have become so inflexible and strict that they never let the modern educated generation to independently think over the Quran. If some one dares to interpret the Quran in the light of modern social sciences, they brand him/her as an apostate and issue verdicts against that ill-fated person. Eventually, the hitherto dormant and unspoken questions remain hidden in the chests burning their hearts.

These unspoken questions include:

1. What are the reasons for ethical, social, economical and cultural decline of Muslims and who is responsible for that?
2. Why the Muslim states, despite having resources, manpower and above all, a great divine religion, are dominated by others?
3. How and why the enemies of Islam are successively holding sway over Muslim states?
4. What is the solution of all these miseries and problems: a democratic government of wrongdoer, transgressor westernized Muslims; a theocratic government of Mullahs; corrupt politicians or Sufism?

Regrettably, the Muslims have been trying to find answers to these questions either in western ideologies or in narrow and obscurantist understanding of Islam by mullah. Yet the Muslims’ ship is still circling in whirlpool of misfortune and servitude. The common man, who is totally dependent upon clergy for the understanding and interpretation of Islam, is completely ignorant of Islamic teachings and never dares to seek the redress from the holy Quran. On the other hand, the clergy, the most befitting analogy for whom is vultures protecting the decaying carcass, following the footsteps of the Jews and the Christian clergy of medieval times do not let anybody come close to this divine treasure.

The Muslims, so called custodians of this magnificent book, the holy Quran, should contemplate, ponder and reflect that why Allah, Who used to send the Prophets in such situations, has become so indifferent that He do not seem to even think about our miseries. Has He, God forbid, forgotten those promises which he made in the holy Quran that whenever darkness prevails I shall change it to light and that it is My DUTY to guide? Is the mere presence of the Book amongst us sufficient for our reformation and salvation and if it is so, why the Muslims are continuously declining since last many centuries? Why the Revivalist of this century, as prophesied by the holy Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) has not come so far? But no one seems to even think about all these questions.

In this thesis, it has been endeavored to draw the attention of Muslim Ummah towards the unique Quranic solution of present adversaries, which the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam has been presenting before the whole world since last century. This solution contains the answers of all the above-mentioned questions.
